Materials

The choice of materials depends on the finish you are looking for as well as the complexity of the build. We work with melamine faced boards, painted MDF, stained, painted or polished solid wood or veneers.

Melamine Faced Boards

These offer an almost limitless range of colours and patterns, including wood reproductions but also stone, fabric and even leather. They are hard wearing, don’t warp and relatively cost effective to manufacture and work with.

Some examples of colours and textures are below, we will also bring swatches and finished panels for you to review during the design visit.

These boards are usually manufactured from MFC and MDF but can also be used to cover plywood.

Painted 

Any colour you like can be matched. MFC boards are usually used for this purpose, they are smooth, hardwearing and can be re-painted if required in future.
